About the rope:

Jute: Our Jute bondage rope is made from the finest grade Tossa jute fibers. All our bondage ropes are lovingly hand treated, washed, and conditioned. This Tossa jute rope is among the strongest for its diameter, with a uniquely tight 3-ply braid. The density of the ply makes these Shibari ropes highly durable, able to stand up to long periods of regular use with no sign of deterioration.

About the color:

Purple: The color purple has a long and rich tradition. It has come to be known as the color of royalty in both Western and Japanese cultures alike. Because of this, purple ropes speak of luxury. In the hands of the Shibari rigger they are a symbol of utmost dominance. On the rope bondage model they represent empowerment through Kinbaku bondage.
